A RENEWABLE ENERGY HEAT SOURCE

BSE Air Conditioning have been installing, servicing, and maintaining commercial and domestic heat pumps since 2006. Our design and service engineers have over 30 years on-site experience.
A new heat pump installation should last between 15 and 20 years if designed, installed correctly and regularly maintained.
Our experience is there are many heat pump products on the market do not have a proven history of manufacturing heat pumps and it can be sometimes impossible to source spare parts in the future.
We have chosen to work with Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric since 2006 because they have a proven track record of a quality product, technical support, innovative design, and guaranteed supply chain of spare parts. So yes, the brand is important to us and our customers

Is a Heat Pump suitable for your Solution?

Heat pumps are suitable for all New buildings and will contribute to minimising the amount of energy used to provide domestic hot water and heating.

Heat pumps will reduce your carbon emissions and improve the Building Energy Rating (BER) of your building.

Not all properties are suitable for a heat pump retrofit.

Before any decision is made to proceed with a heat pump retrofit from an existing oil or gas heating system, a Heat Loss Indicator (HLI) calculation must be carried out. The HLI is the Total Heat Loss per m2 of dwelling floor area. An assessment and calculation should be carried out by a competent professional engineer.

Can I reuse the exiting radiator?

If you are currently using an oil or gas boiler and the installed radiators have been correctly selected, then the answer is – No. If, however the radiators had been over-sized then there is a chance the current radiators can be used. Failure to select the correct radiator size and output will lead to a disastrous outcome.  Our engineers can guide you on this.
